He certainly doesn’t mind spending more time with Doug—but then an arsonist destroys the house Christopher inherited from his brother, and Christopher and Doug discover they are the primary suspects.
As they investigate, they discover Christopher’s dead brother has set them on the trail of a psychotic pedophile who will stop at nothing to silence his last victim. However, the search for the victim goes horribly wrong, leaving Doug hospitalized and Christopher at the mercy of the killer….

Good book, very entertaining. It has some twists and turns to pair with the romance. Definitely worth a read.

A STORY WITH SUBSTANCE

A word if warning, there are some parts of the story that touch on disturbing and upsetting topics but overall the story is well written. This is not a silly romance love story but a complex weave of corruption, rape, incest, child abuse and a man who needs answers. The main characters are great together and the heat believable. Worth a read.

Usually when I write a review it's to warn readers off. That's not the case here. This story stands well above the typical m/m novel.
I don't think the book synopsis does it justice. Most of the story takes place in a small town in Montana during a police investigation that keeps broadening. The two primary characters were extremely well developed; we learned about their strengths and flaws - and liked them for both.
Value: the book was well-written, well-edited and reasonably priced at $5.38. Amazon reports 310 pages; I had about 4900 locations of story content.
