About the Author
As a motivational speaker, author, grief consultant, and facilitator, Rachel Kodanaz tackles today's challenges to help provide encouragement to those who are suffering a loss or setback. Overcoming her own adversity of being widowed at 31 years old with a 2 year old daughter, she “wows” readers and audiences with her down to earth, current and relevant style helping readers and attendees to reach their potential by embracing and learning from all of life’s complexities. Excellent Resource for Coaches and Consultants

Living with Loss is an excellent book to help anyone going through grief of any kind. Rachel Kodanaz understands how grief can cause us to lose focus, feel natural emotions of loss, and most importantly how we can manage it. Now she has outdone herself with sharing her thoughts, philosophies, and ideas in this wonderful book. You can pick up the book at anytime and find a passage that is helpful, insightful, and practical. I recommend it to my clients who are experiencing loss and the feedback has been very good. This book makes a wonderful gift. It is uplifting, practical, and written in a very caring way. It's a must have for coaches and consultants who invariably will deal with clients who are experiencing grief in their lives.

My therapist recommended this book after my grandfather passed away. I continue to read several pages a day. Sometimes, the passage doesn't relate to the emotion I am feeling, but when it does, it grounds me.

I recommend this book for anyone who has lost a loved one.

Although it has been 25 years since I lost my husband “Living With Loss, One Day at a Time” still touched me greatly. It reflected what I experienced at the time of my loss and brought to the surface the many emotions I still experience today. This is a book that is uplifting at any stage of grief.

“Living with Loss, One Day at a Time” is beautifully written focusing on one thought for each day of the year. With an emphasis on “One Day at a Time” it offers daily encouragement to those who have experienced loss with comforting words, gentle suggestions and practical advice from Beginning the Journey to Gone but Not Forgotten.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has experienced loss no matter how recent. It is comforting, encouraging and hopeful. It will comfort you in your grief and encourage you to move forward with hope for the future. I have given it to friends who have recently experienced loss and it is the best gift I could ever have given them.
