About the Author
David Cooper, LPC, is the pastor of the 11,000 member Mount Paran Church, a licensed therapist and the author of thirteen books. He holds a BA in psychology, an MEd in counseling, and a doctorate of ministry. He and his wife also conduct marriage and leadership conferences and have two children.

Incredible food for thought.... "dust off the past" and move on is the new paradigm. Well worth reading and rereading. This is the type of book which can be useful during and after experiences of drama and crisis in one's life. I shall reread it again at some future date as it will serve as an excellent reminder of how to reprogram thoughts to move past disappointments and hurts, all of which serve to mold us in becoming who we are.
Life's disappointing experiences impact us in ways we could never have imagined. Thankfully, Dr. Cooper helps us to put those experiences and feelings into more a positive perspective to gain momentum for beginning to pick up the pieces and wholly live again!

A Great Help

Dr. Cooper does a great job in this book teaching us how to let go of the past and move on. He writes in a way that is easy to understand and apply. The book is full of life applications mixed with humor,real-life stories and interesting facts. The book covers many different topics that everyone struggles with in one way or another and will be a blessing to anyone who reads it. Filled with golden nuggets of truth!

Not only did his writing about "moving forward", and how to handle
people in your life that can't move on speak to me, he backed it up with
The Word. He's as great on paper as he is in the pulpit.
